Abstract

Introduction: Gestational age is Among the topics that In the last few decades, Many researchers have it studied  Because increasing gestational age Caused many problems that the most important  of them can be pointed to increasing risk of premature birth or birth defects. As a result of reviews of the process of birth  by age groups of mothers seems essential.
Methods: Data on the number of births  Were collected from  Center for Civil Registration and Population data were taken from Iranian Statistics Centre. Then calculated age-specific fertility rates in Different Groups of maternal age and analysis was performed by SPSS software.
Results : The results of this study showed the number of birthdays has increased in the age group of 25 years of mothers and older while  in the age group of  less than 25 years, the number of births has been declining volatility. The results also showed that the age-specific fertility rate has increased not only in the ages of mothers but also in all age groups.
Conclution: According  to  increasing age-specific fertility and decreasing number of  births in the age group below 25 years of mothers  can be concluded the number of women in the lower age is reduced. Also  increase in age-specific fertility rates for all age groups show a tendency for women to have more children has increased.
