Introduction: Nowadays rapid and widespread urbanism put people health in danger and led to    health in global and general conferences and actualization methods like healthy city project in many cities. The aim of this study is evaluation of healthy city indicators (health, environmental and social-economical) in Kerman city in 2012.

Method: This study is a mix method (qualitative-quantitative) which for qualitative method, data collection was through documents and survey in Kerman city. We also used quantitative methods and SPSS software and statistical tests such as correlation rate, Anova test and independent-sample T-test for measuring people participation on health issues. 

Results: Results show that only 3 out of 8  in the following health sub indicators include: mortality of children under one year ,the rate of low birth weight and immunization coverage of children under one years old, were according to standards .from social and economic indicators just house quality and abortion rate  were  according to national standards and finally two cases of water quality and garbage collection were accordance standards .also other findings about tendency of residents for participation in individual and social health  show that about 87% are apt to participate  and their age or sex don’t affect on their participation but more educated people have more tendency to participation.

Conclusion: Generally the situation of Kerman city is undesirable but their residents are apt for their individual and environmental health situation improvement
