abstract ={Introduction: Divorce within families has various and often detrimental effects on adolescents, and lack of understanding adolescents' psychosocial experience regarding their parents' divorce is considered an obstacle in employing effective intervention methods. Therefore, the aim of this present study was to investigate and identify the components of adolescents' lived experiences after their parents' divorce in Iran. Methods: This qualitative exploratory study was conducted using Colaizzi's theory in collecting, conducting, and analyzing the data. To this end, 24 adolescents aged 12 to 18 from Yazd city, who had experienced their parents' divorce, were identified through purposive sampling method, and their information was collected through semi-structured interviews in 2022. It is worth mentioning that all data were recorded, and the sampling continued until data saturation was achieved. Results: Analysis of the lived experiences of the participants revealed 9 main thematic units out of a total of 126 meaningful units. Subsequently, through integration and linking of the concepts, 3 main themes of positive emotional experiences (calmness and positive adjustment to divorce), negative emotional experiences (anger, fear, guilt, and helplessness), and negative behavioral experiences (changes in family structure and support networks, and personal problems) were inferred, and their related components and concepts were interpreted separately. Conclusion: After parental divorce, adolescents encounter various positive and negative emotional experiences as well as different negative behavioral experiences. Lack of awareness and timely treatment of these experiences can lead to more severe problems in their mental-social health. . Therefore, it is suggested that therapists interpret life experiences of these people more deeply and provide therapeutic interventions based on the themes obtained from the current research. },

abstract ={Seyed Saeed Mazloomy Mahmoudabad(Ph.D.)1, Mohammad Hassan Ehrampoush(Ph.D.)2 , Salime Zare Abdollahi(Ph.D.)3, Introduction: The present research was conducted with the aim of explaining the views of teenagers-the adults and their parents regarding the prevention of drug addiction based on the mixed elements of the marketing model (audience needs, access to services, cost, and communication). Methods: This research was conducted based on a qualitative research method using an exploratory method. 14 teenagers-adults and 10 parents, 24 participants were selected through targeted sampling, from the marginal neighborhoods of Yazd in 2019; the neighborhoods included Maryam Abad, Hassan Abad, and Skan. In total, 2 semi-structured in-depth interviews with parents and 3 focused group discussions were conducted with the presence of teenagers and young people in the neighborhood. In this study, the information, including demographic characteristics, and the results of market analysis were obtained with elements of Communication for Behavioral Impact (COMBI) social marketing model; they were investigated using focus group discussions (FGD) and semi-structured face-to-face interviews. Data were analyzed based on the content analysis method. Results: The qualitative study resulted in 63 codes, 26 subcategories, 4 categories, product, location, cost, and promotion according to the COMBI model structures. Product category or behavioral characteristics, having peace of mind, and seeking independence were mentioned by both groups of parents and the youth as the factors of addiction tendency. But, regarding the cost of addiction, while teenagers and the young people considered the social side effects of drug use, such as losing friends, more important, parents were more concerned about the physical side effects of drugs. Location or environmental and social conditions were important for both groups of parents and the youth. Conclusion: The results showed that although both groups of teenagers-the youth and their parents pointed to the social, environmental, and individual factors of addiction, their intended examples were different in many areas. Parents considered the most important factor in the tendency to drugs addiction to be the structure of the audience's need, having peace of mind, compensating for the sense of deficiencies and the need for independence, and the youth suggested the use of virtual space and creating motivation and awareness campaign to prevent addiction as a suitable method. Perceived costs according to the young people were loss of friends, feeling of rejection, loss of self-confidence, and negative view of others towards addiction. One of the reasons for the tendency towards addiction was mentioned by the young people as the location and easy access to drugs, and the parents said that the suitable place for the tendency towards addiction was having a risky and inappropriate family. },

abstract ={Introduction: Religiosity can help in adapting to difficult situations and provide better care. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the relationship between religiosity and post-traumatic stress disorder in mothers of children with cancer. Methods: This was a cross-sectional and descriptive-correlational study conducted on 115 mothers of children with cancer who were admitted to Shahid Sadoughi Hospital, in Yazd, in 2019. Sampling was done through convenience sampling method. Data collection tools were the demographic information questionnaire, and Mississippi PTSD and Glock and Stark questionnaires. . Descriptive (mean and standard deviation) and analytical (Pearson's correlation, chi-square) statistical tests and indicators were used; data were investigated and statistically analyzed using SPSS 21 software with a confidence level of 95%. Results: The findings showed that in the post-traumatic stress disorder questionnaire, the average score was 97/61±36/78 and the average score of the religiosity questionnaire was 26/77±61/85. Pearson's correlation coefficient showed a negative relationship between religiosity and PTSD (p= 0/160, r= -0/132). The average score of PTSD and religiosity among mothers was not significantly different according to various variables such as mother's occupation, child's gender, and education level. The difference in the average score of PTSD in mothers was different according to the characteristics such as education level and occupation. The average score of religiosity was more different when comparing working mothers with housewives. The average stress score after the accident showed a greater difference in mothers according to the type of child's illness. The average PTSD score was 83/87±25/79 for neuroblastoma and 92/33±24/98 for solid tumor disease. Conclusion: PTSD among mothers was close to the cut-off point for the disorder. Although there was no significant relationship between PTSD and mothers' religiosity, it can be said that the severity of mental situation of mothers with severe cancer was effective in the study. },

abstract ={Introduction: One of the cancers that endangers women's health is cervical cancer which can be fatal due to the lack of significant symptoms. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of an educational program based on Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) in adopting preventive behaviors from uterine cervical neoplasm among Women Referring to Health Centers in Torbat Heydariyeh city. Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted on 200 women with average age of 30/62 (intervention 100 and control 100) referred to Torbat Heydariyeh city health centers by random cluster sampling method from October 2019 to May 2020.The data collection tools were researcher-made questionnaires based on PMT, and its validity and reliability were reviewed and confirmed. Pre-test was also performed for both groups. Based on the results of the pre-test, need assessment was done. The educational intervention was performed for case group as lecture, pamphlet, Power Point presentation and question and answer in three 90-minute sessions. Post-test was performed after three month using the same questionnaire for both groups. The collected data were analyzed by independent t-test, paired t-test, and Pearson and chi square using SPSS software v22. Results: Before the intervention, there was no significant difference between control and experimental groups(p<0/05)regarding the mean score of constructs of the PMT. After the intervention, however, there was a significant difference in the mean scores of all the constructs of PMT in the two groups (self-efficacy p=0/001, response cost p=0/001, response efficiency p=0/001, perceived vulnerability p=0/007, fear p=0/001, perceived intensity p=0/01, motivation p=0/002 and behavior p=0/001). Conclusion: The study results revealed effectiveness of educational intervention based on PMT in promoting Pap smear screening behavior. The rate of doing pap smear test in the experimental group increased to 56% in the intervention group. Therefore, the authors recommend designing educational interventions based on this theory to promote public health, especially for women. },

abstract ={Introduction: Knowledge, positive attitude, and proper practice are the most important factors in controlling cardiovascular complications in chronic diseases such as diabetes. So, this study investigated the knowledge, attitude, and practice of cardiovascular disease prevention in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods: In this descriptive-cross-sectional study, 385 patients with type 2 diabetes who visited the Diabetes Clinic of Ganjavian Dezful Hospital from January 2023 to April 2024 were selected by convenience sampling method. To collect data, the demographic information questionnaire and the questionnaire by Koohi et al. (2021) related to the knowledge, attitude and practice of prevention of cardiovascular diseases were used. The Cronbach's alpha of the questionnaire was >0/6 for all dimensions of the questionnaire, and its CVR and CVI in this study were 0/90 and 0/85. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 16 software and p-value of less than 0.05. Descriptive statistics including frequency, mean, and standard deviation as well as inferential statistics such as Pearson correlation, independent t test, and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. Results: This study showed that 57.1 percent of the participants were in the age range of 40 to 60 67/5 percent of whom were women. Patients had a high level of knowledge and attitude toward preventing cardiovascular disease (20/06 ± 5/42) and (46/80 ± 4/99), respectively); however, their performance level was not high (8.65 ± 5.03). A significant positive relationship was also observed between knowledge and attitude (r = 0/6, P= 0/001). Conclusion: Despite patients’ high level knowledge and attitude toward the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, their performance in this field is not appropriate, and this issue requires planning by hospital managers },

abstract ={Introduction: Musculoskeletal disorders are one of the main health problems among health care providers. This study aims to determine Job responsibilities and risk factors for work-related musculoskeletal disorders among the hospital employees of one of the largest hospitals in Zahedan. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 194 staff in one of the largest hospitals affiliated with Zahedan University of Medical Sciences. Data were collected using a demographic questionnaire and Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS v19 and univariate logistic linear modeling, in addition to Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests. Results: The highest average pain score was related to the back(21/10±26/19). Neck pain was more prevalent in people over 40 years old(50%). Women were 4.9 times more likely to experience neck pain than men, and the possibility of back pain in individuals older than 40 years was 2.2 times higher than in those younger than 30. Furthermore, participants with more than 20 years of work experience were 5/4 times more likely to develop knee pain than those working for 5 years and less. There was a significant difference between pain scores in different positions among the hospital staff(p=0/003). Conclusion: The results of the present study demonstrated that the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders among nurse assistants, women, elderly people and those with more work experience was higher than other employees, and it is necessary to design and implement targeted and specific interventions to reduce these disorders for different groups in hospitals. },

abstract ={Introduction: Marginal immigrants cause many problems in economic, social and cultural, physical ,and environmental aspects of cities. This study aims to investigate the factors affecting migration to Kerman city and the problems of marginalized immigrants using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) models. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2022, with a sample size of 147 households selected from Kerman suburban region. The data were collected by a standardized questionnaire measuring effective factors on the migration and the checklist of the immigrant problems. Results: The most important immigration factors were economic, social, geographical, political, educational and religious-cultural factors, respectively. Among 37 components studied, transferring the job of the family man as the family head, being on the main land, air and rail ways, having a special position at the international level, burying the family’s dead members in the desired city, and the education of the wife or one of the children of the family were the most important components. According to the results, more than 90% did not have access to public baths, sports facilities, government centers, private institutions, and parks, and recreational spaces. Conclusion: According to AHP model, economic factors ,and then social factors, were the most important reasons for migrating to the suburbs of Kerman. Therefore, it is suggested to create stable and long-term job opportunities , improve employment and business environment in the cities, and develop infrastructure to control migration to the city capitals. },

abstract ={Introduction: Diabetes, as one of the common causes of mortality worldwide, extends beyond physical aspects and can impact psychological and emotional dimensions as well. Therefore, the present research aimed to determine the effectiveness of spiritual therapy on the psychological well-being and self-efficacy of patients with type 2 diabetes in Tehran. Methods: This study was a semi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest and a three-month follow-up design with a control group. The study population consisted of all the patients with type 2 diabetes who attended treatment centers in Tehran (Masih Daneshvari, Nikan, and the Iranian Diabetes Association) from August to November 2023. Among the patients, 37 were selected using purposive sampling and were randomly assigned to two groups: the experimental group (N=18) and the control group (N=19). The data collection tools included a demographic information form, the standardized Ryff's scale of psychological well-being– short form (Cronbach's alpha= 0/72), and the General Self-Efficacy Scale (Cronbach's alpha= 0/83). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS-21 software. Additionally, given the different stages of measurement (pre-test, post-test, and follow-up), repeated measures ANOVA was used for data analysis. Results: The results indicated that spiritual therapy led to an increase in psychological well-being (F=132/56, P<0/001) and self-efficacy (F=15/51, P<0/001) in patients with type 2 diabetes. Furthermore, the effect size of spiritual therapy on psychological well-being was 79%, and self-efficacy was 31%, and the sustainability of its effects was observed up to three months after treatment. Conclusion: The findings suggest the impact of spiritual therapy on enhancing psychological well-being and self-efficacy in patients with type 2 diabetes. Therefore, it is recommended that, in addition to the routine treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes, spiritual therapy be utilized to enhance the psychological well-being of the patients. },

title = {Predicting Depression in Middle-Aged Individuals in Tehran Based on Socioeconomic Status, Loneliness, Spiritual Well-Being, and Marital Satisfaction in 2023},
abstract ={Introduction: Information related to the amount of the most significant risk factors identified in relation to depression in middle-aged Iranian individuals is insufficient. Accordingly, the aim of this study was to predict depression in middle-aged residents of Tehran based on their socioeconomic status, feelings of loneliness, spiritual well-being, and marital satisfaction. Methods: This cross-sectional study employed a quantitative descriptive-correlational approach and regression analysis. A total of 216 middle-aged individuals visiting health centers in Tehran in 2023 were selected through convenience sampling. Participants completed questionnaires assessing marital satisfaction (Hudson), social-emotional loneliness in adults, spiritual well-being (Dehshiri et al.), socioeconomic status (SES), and the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II). Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using SPSS version 24 to examine the relationship between predictor variables and depression. Rusults: Among the 216 middle-aged participants in Tehran, aged between 40 and 60 years, 47/68% were male (103 individuals) and 52/31% were female (113 individuals). The prevalence of depression among middle-aged individuals in Tehran was found to be 46/3% (100 individuals). Notably, only spiritual well-being significantly predicted the variability in depression among middle-aged individuals in Tehran (B=0/19, p< 0/01). Conclusion: Contrary to previous studies, socioeconomic status, loneliness, and marital satisfaction did not statistically predict the variability in depression among middle-aged individuals in Tehran. It is recommended that further research be conducted to identify the most significant risk factors associated with depression in this demographic. },

abstract ={Introduction: Given the negative effects of satellite series on marital commitment, and the quality of life of women, and the destabilization of family systems, the present study aimed to examine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy on marital commitment and quality of life in women who follow satellite series in Tehran Methods: This study was designed as a quasi-experimental intervention with a pre-test and post-test approach. The statistical population consisted of women who were viewers of satellite series and members of an active institute in marriage and psychological services for couples in East Tehran. Using convenience sampling method, the first individual was selected randomly, and then through snowball sampling, 120 individuals were introduced. After screening and selecting eligible individuals, the sample size was reduced to 30, and the participants were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups (15 in each group). The women in the experimental group participated in virtual cognitive-behavioral therapy sessions. Data collection tools included two standardized questionnaires: the World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire and the Adams and Jones Marital Commitment Questionnaire which were distributed and completed in both groups before and after the intervention. For data analysis, descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, Shapiro-Wilk test, skewness, and kurtosis were used, and for inferential statistics to examine the significance of the intervention's effectiveness, analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was employed. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. Results: The results indicated a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in both pre-test and post-test (p<0/05). The scores of the experimental group after the intervention showed a significant increase in the post-test analysis of covariance for the variables of physical health, psychological health, social relationships, social environment, overall quality of life, personal commitment, moral commitment, structural commitment, and overall marital commitment, compared to the pre-test (p<0/05). At the same time, the control group did not show a significant difference (p>0/05). Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that cognitive-behavioral therapy has a positive impact on quality of life and marital commitment. This type of therapy can be utilized as an effective strategy to improve marital commitment and quality of life for women who watch satellite series. },

abstract ={Introduction: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between occupational stressors and behavioral deviation with the mediating role of organizational support in health care workers in Najaf Abad city. Methods: The present cross-sectional correlational study was conducted on health care workers in Najaf Abad city. In this study, all 152 health care workers were selected by total population sampling method and participated in the study after obtaining informed consent, and questionnaires were distributed among them in person. The questionnaire used in this study had four parts, the first part of which was the demographic characteristics questionnaire. In order to evaluate the behavioral deviation, the Binet and Robinson questionnaire was used. In order to evaluate the organizational support, Eisenberger et al.'s organizational support questionnaire was used, and Mohammadreza Saffarzadeh's questionnaire was used to investigate job stressors. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. Results: It was observed that 83/33% of health care workers were at an average level of occupational stressors. Moreover, 63/33% of health care workers were at a weak level of behavioral deviation. The mean (standard deviation) of the organizational support variable in the studied sample was 28/08 (1/23). A positive and statistically significant relationship was observed between the variable of occupational stressors and the variable of behavioral deviation (p<0/05). Conclusion: By increasing the variable of occupational stressors, the behavioral deviation of health care workers also increases to a small amount, and also by increasing the variable of organizational support, the occupational stressors of health care workers decreases to a small amount. Organizations should consider the periodic measurement of the index of occupational stressors of employees to know the level of this index and take timely action. },

abstract ={Introduction: Extramarital relationships pose a challenge to family life and can negatively affect the mental health and well-being of family members. Various factors can contribute to the development of extramarital relationships. The present study aimed to predict attitudes towards extramarital relationships based on sexual satisfaction and performance in individuals with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Methods: This study was correlational in nature. The study population included all married individuals seeking counseling and psychological services in Qazvin city in 2023, from which 216 individuals were selected by purposive sampling method. The World Health Organization ADHD self-report scale, Yeniceri and Kokdemir Extramarital Relationship Questionnaire, Larson Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire, and the Farajina Sexual Performance Questionnaire were used for data collection. Data analysis was performed using SPSS-25 software and multiple regression analysis. All inferential analyses were conducted at a significance level of 0/05. Rusults: The results indicated that sexual satisfaction (β = 0/19, t = 2/85) and sexual performance (β = 0/15, t = 2/26) could predict the variance of changes related to attitudes towards extramarital relationships. Conclusion: Based on the obtained results, it is recommended to provide couples with this awareness during premarital counseling so that they can discuss sexual issues with marriage counselors and specialists and receive specialized counseling if needed to prevent the tendency towards extramarital relationships. },

The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between perceived social support and psychological distress in students and the mediating role of alexithymia in Tabriz University students. Methods: The research method was fundamental and descriptive-correlational path analysis. The statistical population included students of both genders, all majors, and all levels of education at Tabriz University in 2023, from which 203 individuals were randomly selected. Data collection tools included the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (1994), the Lovibond and Lovibond Stress, Anxiety, and Depression Scale (1995), and the Zimet Perceived Social Support Questionnaire(1998). For data analysis in the descriptive section, central tendency and dispersion indices were examined using SPSS version 26 software, and path analysis with Amos software was employed to test the hypotheses. Results: The direct effect of perceived social support on emotional alexithymia was negative (P<0/001), and the direct effect of emotional alexithymia on psychological distress was positive and significant (P<0/001). However, the direct effect of perceived social support on psychological distress was not significant (P>0/190). Additionally, the indirect effect of perceived social support on psychological distress through emotional alexithymia was negative and significant(P<0/001). Conclusion: The results of this study show that emotional alexithymia acts as an important mediator with a negative effect between perceived social support and psychological distress in students. It is suggested that strengthening support networks and providing training in communication skills should be carried out to reduce emotional alexithymia in students. Furthermore, holding training courses in university environments can help improve mental health and reduce psychological distress. },

title = {The Role of Childhood Emotional Maltreatment in Adult Aggression with the Mediating Role of Emotion Regulation in Students at Yazd University},
abstract ={Introduction: Dealing with aggression in adults and adolescents is essential for creating a better society, and one of the most important steps in this regard is understanding the variables and factors that influence aggression. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the role of childhood emotional maltreatment in adolescent aggression with the mediating role of emotion regulation in university students in Yazd. Method: The research method was quantitative in terms of approach, applied in terms of purpose, and non-experimental in nature (descriptive-correlational). The statistical population consisted of humanities students at Yazd University in the academic year 2022-2023, of which 200 were selected as the sample. Non-random sampling method was used. The research tools included the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire (1992), the Life Experiences Questionnaire by Gibb et al. (2001), and the Emotion Regulation Difficulties Questionnaire by Gratz and Roemer (2004), with reliability coefficients obtained through cronbach's alpha of 0/88, 0/92, and 0/90, respectively. For data analysis, structural equation modeling was employed using SPSS25 and AMOS24 software. Rusults: The results showed that childhood emotional maltreatment significantly and directly predicts adolescent aggression (β=0/28, p<0/01), as well as emotion regulation difficulties (β=0/48, p<0/01), and that emotion regulation difficulties positively and significantly affect student aggression as a mediating variable (β=0/54, p< 0/01). Conclusion: F The type of parental behavior towards the child, especially emotional maltreatment during childhood, can have a significant impact on adult life, as well as the tendency towards aggression and the level of individual emotion regulation. Conflict of interest: The authors declared no conflict of interest. },

title = {Predicting Nomophobia Based on Early Maladaptive Schemas Considering Depression, Anxiety and Stress in the Youth},
abstract ={Introduction: Excessive use and mental preoccupation with mobile phones is one of the behavioral problems among young people that can be accompanied by negative psychological consequences, including cell phone phobia in the form of fear combined with anxiety caused by being away from it. In order to design effective interventions, it is necessary to identify the factors that predict and influence the occurrence of this phenomenon. This study aimed to predict cell phone phobia based on early maladaptive schemas with respect to depression, anxiety, and stress in young people. Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional study of correlational type. The research population was young men and women aged 20-40 in Isfahan. Through a call on popular channels in virtual networks, young people with the inclusion criteria were invited to participate in the study. Based on Morgan's table, 384 people were selected from the users of virtual networks between October and December 2024 based on the inclusion criteria and answered the demographic characteristics questionnaire, Yildirim's nomophobia, Young's early maladaptive schemas, and DASS version 21. The data were analyzed using AMOS version 23 and SPSS version 21 software. Results: Structural equation modeling showed that nomophobia can be predicted based on early maladaptive schemas with respect to stress, anxiety, and depression in young people. These schemas were positive and significant predictors of nomophobia (p=0/001). Depression (p=0/001), anxiety (p=0/001), and stress (p=0/001) were positive and significant predictors of nomophobia. There was a significant relationship between schemas and depression (p=0/001,r=0/29), anxiety (p=0/001,r=0/27), and stress (p=0/001,r=0/28). The schemas of cut-off/exclusion and inhibition had the greatest and other-orienteers the least effect on nomophobia. Conclusion: The results of the present study show that early maladaptive schemas, mediated by stress, depression, and anxiety, predict nomophobia in young people. Given the greater impact of cut-off/exclusion and inhibition schemas, it is necessary to identify these schemas in young people and provide them with health interventions. However, larger studies should be conducted to generalize the results. Conflict of interest: The authors declared no conflict of interest. },

title = {Investigating The Effect of Education Based On hHealth Belief model On Predictive Factors of Breast Self-Examination In Women In Qom City In 2024},
abstract ={Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. Women who perform breast self-examination monthly are more likely to find lumps in the early stages. This study was designed and implemented to investigate the effect of education based on health belief model on predictive factors of breast self-examination in women in Qom. Methods: This semi-experimental study was conducted on 70 women referring to comprehensive health service centers in Qom in November and December 2024, divided into experimental and control groups. The data collection tool included demographic questions and the Persian version of the Champion’s Health Belief Model questionnaire. The educational intervention consisted of three educational sessions designed based on the constructs of the health belief model. Post-test data were collected three months after the intervention. Paired t-tests were used to compare each group before and after the intervention. Results: Paired T-test showed significant differences in mean and standard deviation of scores of all health belief model constructs including perceived sensitivity, perceived severity, perceived benefits, health motivation, perceived self-efficacy, and behavioral intention showed significant differences in mean and standard deviation of scores before and after the educational intervention (p<0/05). In the control group, no significant differences were observed in any of the constructs before and after the intervention. Conclusion: The use of appropriate educational methods based on the health belief model significantly improves the predictive factors of breast self-examination. Given the easy and inexpensive nature of these interventions and considering the implementation, cultural, and organizational constraints, this can be widely considered to increase equitable access to education and facilitate diagnosis and treatment. title = {Comparing Effectiveness of Emotional Schema Therapy, Forgiveness -Based Compassion Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy on Affective Capital in Women of Victim of Domestic Violence},
abstract ={Introduction: Domestic violence refers to violence that occurs in the private environment of the family, and generally occurs between people who are tied together by intimacy and blood or legal relationship. The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of emotional therapy schema, forgiveness-oriented compassion therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy on affective capital of women victims of domestic violence. Method: This semi -experimental study was conducted using a pre-test and post-test with a control group and a 45 day follow-up. The statistical population included women victims of domestic violence referring to health centers in Falavarjan in the summer of 2023, of which 60 people were selected purposively and randomly assigned to three experimental groups and one control group (15 people). The experimental groups received emotional schema therapy, compassion therapy based on forgiveness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Data were collected using the Affective Capital (Golparvar, 2016) Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using repeated measures ANOVA and Bonferroni post-hoc tests, utilizing SPSS software version 23. Rusults: The results indicated the effectiveness of all three interventions on increasing affective capital and its dimensions in women victims of domestic violence. The effects of all three treatments remained in the follow-up phase as well (p<0/01); However, no significant difference was observed between the effectiveness of the mentioned treatment methods in this field (p<0/05). Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that all three approaches, schema of emotional therapy, forgiveness-based compassion therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy significantly affected affective capital in women who are victims of domestic violence and can be utilized by therapists. Conflict of interest: The authors declared no conflict of interest. },

title = {Pilates and Vitamin D is an Effective Intervention Protocol to Improve Strength and Muscle Mass and Quality of Life Related to Menopause in Women},
abstract ={Introduction:Postmenopausal women are at risk of developing sarcopenia and compromising musculoskeletal health and quality of life. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of a course of pilates training with vitamin D supplementation on skeletal muscle strength and mass and quality of life in postmenopausal women. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design, 29 postmenopausal women (48.94±2.73 years old) were purposively selected through advertisements posted on the Internet in Arak city between March 2013 and April 2014 and randomly assigned to vitamin D supplementation (VD), pilates + vitamin D (PT + VD), and control (C) groups. The PT+VD group did 3 sessions of 60-minute pilates exercises every week for 8 weeks (a total of 24 sessions) and received vitamin D (dose 2000 units) every other day, while the VD group only used vitamin D every other day. Before and after the intervention, metabolic indices, quality of life (WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire with high reliability and validity: Cronbach's alpha = 0.92), body composition (bioelectrical impedance), and muscle strength (dynamometer) were assessed. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 26 software and analysis of covariance tests. Results: The results of the present study showed that muscle strength and lean mass significantly increased in the VD and PT+VD groups (P<0.05). In the PT+VD group, all four domains of quality of life (physical health, psychological health, social relationships, and social environment) significantly improved (P<0.05). Conclusion: The results showed that vitamin D supplementation can improve quality of life as well as strength and lean mass in postmenopausal women. The improvement observed in quality of life and skeletal muscle function in postmenopausal women was doubled with the addition of pilates training. Conflict of interest: The authors declared no conflict of interest. },
