fa بررسی نگرش مراجعین به دانشکده دندانپزشکی یزد در رابطه با باورهای نادرست بهداشت دهان و دندانپزشکی در سال 1402 Misconceptions About Oral Health and Dentistry: Attitude Evaluation of Clients at Yazd Dental School in 2023 دندانپزشکی Dental پژوهشي Research مقدمه: مردم باورهای مختلفی درباره‌ی بهداشت دهان و دندان که بعضی مبنای علمی نداشته و مانع دستیابی به سطح مطلوبی از بهداشت جامعه می گردند. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی نگرش مراجعین به دانشکده دندانپزشکی یزد در رابطه با باورهای نادرست بهداشت دهان و دندانپزشکی  از زمستان سال 1401 تا 1402(به مدت یک سال) انجام شد. روش بررسی:  این مطالعه توصیفی-مقطعی، 300 نفر از مراجعین به دانشکده دندانپزشکی یزد به روش نمونه گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. داده ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه محقق ساخته دارای روایی و پایایی جمع آوری و با آزمون های آماری تحلیل شدند. یافته ها: از نظر شدت، میانگین نمره نگرش نادرست 03/6± 83/44 بود. از نظر وسعت، 3/46 درصد افراد، ‌‌نگرش نادرستی درحد متوسط داشتند. بین میانگین نمره نگرش نادرست بر‌حسب جنسیت، سن ، شغل و رسانه در هر یک از زیرگروه ها تفاوت‌آماری معنی داری وجود نداشت. تفاوت بین میانگین نمره نگرش نادرست بر حسب میزان تحصیلات معنی‌دار بود. رگرسیون خطی نشان داد، هیچ کدام از متغیرهای مورد بررسی به طور معنی داری توانایی پیش بینی نگرش نادرست  در مورد درمان های دندانپزشکی را ندارند. نتیجه گیری: میزان باورهای نادرست در مورد دندانپزشکی در‌جامعه مورد بررسی از نظر شدت و وسعت در سطح متوسط بود. لذا با آموزش های مناسب بویژه در دوران تحصیل می توان از تاثیر باورهای نادرست در رابطه با سلامت دهان و دندان جلوگیری نمود. این مطالعه برگرفته از پایان نامه دانشجویی رشته دندانپزشکی دانشکده دندانپزشکی شهیدصدوقی یزد به تصویب رسیده می باشد.   Introduction: People hold various beliefs about oral and dental health, some of which lack a scientific basis and hinder achieving an optimal level of community health. The present study was conducted to examine the attitudes of patients referring to the Yazd School of Dentistry regarding misconceptions about oral and dental health and dentistry, from the winter of 2022 to 2023 (for one year). Methods: : In this descriptive cross-sectional study, 300 patients referring to the Yazd School of Dentistry were selected using convenience sampling. Data were collected using a researcher-designed questionnaire with confirmed validity and reliability and were analyzed using statistical tests. Results: In terms of intensity, the mean score of incorrect attitudes was 44.83 ± 6.03. In terms of extent, 46.3% of individuals had a moderate level of incorrect attitudes. There were no statistically significant differences in the mean incorrect attitude scores across subgroups based on gender, age, occupation, or media use. However, the difference in mean incorrect attitude scores based on educational level was statistically significant. Linear regression showed that none of the examined variables had a significant ability to predict incorrect attitudes toward dental treatments. Conclusion: The level of misconceptions about dentistry in the studied community was moderate in both intensity and extent. Therefore, appropriate education especially during the years of schooling can help prevent the impact of incorrect beliefs regarding oral and dental health.
