fa دانش و نگرش عمومی نسبت به بیماری مولتیپل اسکلروزیس در شهر اصفهان در سال 1400 General knowledge and Attitudes towards Multiple Sclerosis in Isfahan in 2021 عمومى General پژوهشي Research مقدمه: مولتیپل اسکلروزیس یک بیماری التهابی مزمن سیستم اعصاب مرکزی است. عدم آگاهی در مورد این بیماری و علائم آن ممکن است تشخیص زودهنگام و کنترل بیماری را به تاخیر اندازد. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی دانش و نگرش عمومی نسبت به بیماری مولتیپل اسکلروزیس در اصفهان انجام شد. روش بررسی: پژوهش حاضر، مطالعهای مقطعی از نوع توصیفی-تحلیلی  بود که در سال 1400 در شهر اصفهان انجام شد. یک پرسشنامۀ محقق ساختۀ 22 سوالی ایجاد و بصورت آنلاین از طریق شبکههای اجتماعی توزیع شد. دادهها  بوسیلۀ آزمونهای آماری تیتست مستقل و تحلیل واریانس یکراهه با استفاده از نرمافزار SPSS نسخه 24 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند. یافتهها: در مجموع 480 نفر در این مطالعه شرکت کردند. میانگین نمرۀ آگاهی و نگرش شرکتکنندگان بهترتیب 86/1±77/4 و 24/6±54 بدست آمد. نتایج آزمون تیتست نشان داد که تفاوت معناداری بین نمرات دانش و نگرش شرکتکنندگان بر حسب جنسیت و سابقۀ ابتلاء به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس در اطرافیان وجود دارد. همچنین نتایج تحلیل واریانس نشان داد که تفاوت معناداری در میانگین نمرات دانش و نگرش شرکتکنندگان بر حسب میزان تحصیلات و وضعیت شغلی آنها وجود دارد. اما در نگرش              شرکتکنندگان نسبت به بیماری مولتیپل اسکلروزیس و مبتلایان به آن تفاوتی بر حسب وضعیت تاهل        آن ها وجود نداشت. نتیجهگیری: بر اساس یافتههای مطالعۀ حاضر، آگاهی شرکتکنندگان راجع به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس در سطح متوسط بود. بنابراین، اتخاذ اقداماتی برای افزایش آگاهی جامعه از طریق رسانههای جمعی و مراکز بهداشتی میتواند به تشخیص و کنترل زودهنگام بیماری و تصحیح تصورات غلط افراد نسبت به بیماران مولتیپل اسکلروزیس کمک کند.   Introduction: Multiple sclerosis is an inflammatory and chronic disease of the central nervous system. Lack of knowledge about the disease and its symptoms may delay early diagnosis and control of the disease. The present study aimed to investigate the general knowledge and attitude towards multiple sclerosis in Isfahan. Methods: This cross-sectional (descriptive-analytical) study was conducted in 2021 in Isfahan. A 22-question researcher-made questionnaire was created and distributed online through social networks. The data were analyzed by independent t-test and one-way ANOVA using SPSS software (v.24). Results: A total of 480 people participated in this study. The mean scores of knowledge and attitude were 4.77±1.86 and 54±6.24, respectively. The results of t-test indicated that there was a significant difference between participants' knowledge and attitude scores in terms of gender and history of multiple sclerosis in close relatives. ANOVA results also showed that there was a significant difference in the mean scores of participants' knowledge and attitude according to their education level and job status. However, there was no difference in the participants' attitudes towards multiple sclerosis and patients with the disease according to their marital status. Conclusion: Based on the present study findings, the participants' knowledge about multiple sclerosis was moderate. Therefore, measures must be taken in order to increase the general knowledge through the mass media and health centers.
