Intredaction: The impact of Weight on Quality of Life(IWQOL-lite) is a self-report questionnaire that measures quality of life in obesity. it is consist of  31 questions and five dimensions (physical function, self-esteem, sexual activity, anxiety presence in public places and work). The aim of present  study was to translate, reliability and validity in Iranian version of iwqol-lite .
Methods: this study is a Cross-sectional study were obtained from  306 people  that aged over 18 years  and bmi over 18 that living in Yazd city with cluster sampling method. Test the reliability was assessed by using internal consistency and ICC. validity  was assessed by concurrent , discriminant and construct validity.  Softwarw using SPSS & mplus .
Results: Internal consistency ranged from 0.84- 0.97. of at least intraclass correlation coefficients were over 0.70(exept sexual activity)  for all dimention. Discriminant validity suggest the following distinction is group sex and weight. Confirmatory factor analysis model in the sample is confirmed.
Conclusion:The results confirm that Iranian version of IWQOL-lite has adequate physcometricpropertice.
