Introduction: Vehicle and motorcycle accidents are one of the main causes of mortality in the world and the highest rates of mortality are attributed to developing countries. On average, every day, there are three thousand car deaths in the world, and mortality related to vehicles are the 11th most common cause of death in developing countries. In our country, the death toll from driving accidents is very high. Ranked fourth in the top 25 high-losing countries. Basically, accidents are the cause of mortality at the age of 40 and traffic accidents as leading cause.
Methods: This is a descriptive-analytic method in terms of its purpose, its time of the beginning of the year 96, and the statistical population is all the drivers of Yazd city, which is a large community. In this research, due to the large size of the population and the impossibility of conducting research on the whole society, 384 people were selected as Krejisi and Morgan based on random sampling method for sampling. Thus, Yazd city is divided into 5 sections and the questioner in each section randomly selected 77 people from various drivers in terms of age and type of vehicle in that section and submitted the questionnaire after giving the necessary explanation to fill them. Also, traffic user's values in Yazd were selected based on the baseline study, literature and its integration with the results obtained from field research data. Data analysis method; In this study, to test the hypotheses with the aim of measuring the effect of variables, multiple linear regression was used. For categorizing and analyzing data, the software EXCEL and spss23 were used which are presented by giving two tables Model Summary and regression coefficient table (ANOVA); correlation values between two variables (R and R2) and the significance level (sig) were determined and the results were analyzed.
Results: The results show that religious values (0.828), economic value (0.282), social value (0.250), knowledge value (0.91), health value (0.159) And familial value (146/0) had the highest impact on the traffic behavior variable, and there was no significant impact from the values of public value, aesthetic, pleasure and power.
Conclusion: By relying on the values that exist in a society, there can be some kind of correlation in order to advance and highlight the ruling values, which over time and observing this behavior (from the clingers), other people who are less affluent These values are also trying to maintain their coherence, so respecting these values is consistent with the results obtained in accordance with the proper traffic behavior; complying with traffic rules and regulations, which will result in traffic ordering And reduce accidents and losses caused by it.
